Yimken | Motor Sport | November | 1958

Yes, that's correct and not a 'typo'. While doing a bit of digging I came across this Letter from a reader in Motor Sport Magazine . It's a note back to the editor correcting the team on their incorrect spelling - Impken Eng - when covering their tuning activities. Confused? It's probably nothing but most mentions of the word Yimkin attribute it back to the Arabic word for 'maybe'. Maybe this is just a dry bit of humour?

Interestingly, here's the same miss spelling, seen much later on the Yimkin / Gordon and Glynn letterhead.
